One of the UK’s leading house builders, who fit the Satrak system to its machines had reason to be pleased recently! One of their new Manitou Telehandler was stolen from a new housing development site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

Their Construction Director was alerted first thing Monday morning that the machine was missing. He simply dialled the machine for the location and discovered it was 8.1 miles away from the site in the Doncaster region.

They police were alerted to the precise location and they were asked to meet at the location in 15 minutes.

When they arrived the machine was left abandoned in a Social Club car park and locked up. There was no damage to the machine and it was tucked away out of site next to the railings.

The machine was transported straight back to site and was working by 11am.
